Different barline styles in a system?
I have a piece of music with multiple verses, each one with slightly different notes from the others, so I have a separate stave for each verse, stacked one over another. Is there a way to change a barline on only one of the staves (i.e., double barline while the rest of the system shows a repeat)? I'm using MuseScore version 3.3.4.9134, if that matters. Thanks for the help.

Nope, that doesn't work.

Just for display, with a couple of lines, but I don't think that's correct.

Wow, how did you attach these lines?

Make invisible the repeat barline;
Add lines from palette, via Inspector disable automatic placement;
Double click and drag the lines

Got it. A bit unwieldy, but it works. Thank you!

Well, you can do Ctrl+Drag for double barlines when the global type is single barline, but not when it's a repeat barline which affects playback. I guess it's fairly logical because there isn't a kind of "global" and "local" tag written in MuseScore files, so if you replace all repeat barlines with non-repeat ones one-by-one, MuseScore cannot decide whether repeat is still needed in playback...
