Release notes for version 3.3.4

Mixer Panel (F10):
The instrument volume control bar is horizontal. It would be more logical to arrange it vertically, at the same time placing the sliders of the volume control potentiometers horizontally inside the panel, as musical notes and, respectively, musical parts are usually located horizontally.
This will speed up the intuitive search for the necessary regulator, since they will be located in the same order as the musical parts of the instrument on the bearer. In general, the mixer panel in versions 2.xx was more successful, in addition, it was more compact.
In addition, the large sliders below are for some reason duplicated by the small sliders above. This is superfluous.
The list of instrument sounds must be provided with a slider on the left side of the list so that it becomes possible to turn the list through pages, as was done, for example, in text editors.
In addition, in the list of instrument sounds, many instruments (those that are capable of making “crescendo / diminuendo” within a single note) are duplicated with the addition of the prefix “Expr.”.
Maybe it would be better if in the Inspector, for the speakers "crescendo", at the beginning indicate the initial volume level, and in the end - the final level. It will be easier this way and the list of instrument sounds will be shorter.
For those instruments that cannot make "crescendo" within the same note (piano, marimba, etc.), this function must be made inactive.
It would be very nice if the function "crescendo / diminuendo" within a single note would work for other sf2 banks.
Palette:
Symbols of dynamics (p, mf, ff and so on) are not dragged to the stave, as it was before.
Entering notes:
When you try to enter notes for a drum kit (Drumset), the drum selection bar, which should appear below, sometimes (very rarely) appears outside the screen. Perhaps this only appears on my computer.
In versions 2.x, in the Mixer panel, it was immediately visible to all parties which instruments were assigned to them, now we need to click on each individual instrument to see what sound was assigned to it.
Mute and Solo modes ("M", "S") can now be turned on both at the same time, and they should work one at a time, that is, either one or the other.
The F12 function, in my opinion, is unnecessarily complicated, its purpose is a quick transition to any place in the score and nothing more.
It is not possible to make the crescendo / diminuendo lines shorter when they go beyond the beat.
Arpeggiato and others like that have disappeared from the Palette. They are very lacking.
In general, I wish the authors of the MuseScore program success and wish them to avoid the typical mistakes that were observed in various other programs during their refinements from version to version.
Often in the history of the creation of computer programs, it turned out that the early version of the program turned out to be quite successful, but then, in the course of improvements and improvements, the successfully found interface became more and more cumbersome. Although at the same time visually he looked more and more attractive.

There are other existing threads with discussions of ideas for the mixer, so I encourage you to search for those and respond with your suggestions there.
Regarding the palette, it isn't clear what you mean about dynamics. They work as expected for me. Can you explain the problem you are having in more detail? Also, it isn't clear what difficulty you are having shortening a crescendo, it works normally for me as short as I want: Shift+Left/Right to change the logical end point, Left/Right alone or with Ctrl, or drag, to change length only.
If you are encountering a problem with any of this, please attach a score and give us precise steps to reproduce the problem.
Arpeggios are still on the palettes. Perhaps you are in the Basic worksapce which is indeed rather limited, but simply switch to Advanced using the control at far right of the toolbar, or use the "Add palettes" button in the palettes window itself to add only what you need.,

I have installed version 3.3.4.9066, revision 7684 abe.
The problem with the movement of the fork, denoting "crescendo / diminuendo" has been resolved. I just checked again, put these forks, their length and the position of the extreme points are adjusted as you said. Although the plug, which was delivered earlier, does not want to be regulated in any way. Apparently, this is some kind of minor defect. It can be removed and reinstalled.
Regarding arpeggio: yes, indeed, I did not notice that the palette was in the "basic" mode. I apologize for these stupid mistakes of mine.
Regarding the character palette: now I checked and made sure that the designation of the dynamics, that is, the volume, such as "p", "mf", "f", (that is, "piano", "mezzopiano", "forte") , do not drag with the mouse on the stave, as it was before.
Now you need to select a note or pause on the stave, then double-click in the palette on the symbol of the dynamics that you need. This cannot be considered a serious flaw, and if fixing it requires a lot of effort on the part of the developers, then you can leave it as it is.

Glad it sounds like you are making some progress! I'm still not totally understanding some of the things you are saying. I don't know what you mean by "the plug, which was delivered earlier, does not want to be regulated in any way". Are you referring to some sort of plugin having to do with crescendo?
I also am still not sure what you mean about dynamics not dragging. Maybe what you are noticing is that on some operating systems, when dragging and dropping, the drag icon shows a symbol indicating that you cannot drop until you actually reach the note you want to drop onto. Prior versions of MuseScore had a bug where the icon made it appear you could drop the item before you actually reach the note. That bug is fixed, so now the drag icon is the way the operating system designers intended for it to be - the icon shows that you cannot drop until you do in fact reach the note. But the drop itself works the same as always, just the icon shown while dragging has changed.
Still, drag and drop has never been a very efficient way of adding things to the score. Clicking the note - or selecting multiple notes at once - then double-clicking the palette element has always been more efficient. And as of the current version (3.4.2, sounds like you're still using a somewhat older one) it's faster still, because now you don't even need to double-click the palette item - a single click is enough.

Unfortunately, I do not know much English, so I have to resort to the services of Google Translator. The phrase "the PLUG, which was delivered earlier, does not want to be regulated in any way", should be read as "the FORK, which was delivered earlier, does not want to be regulated in any way". As I wrote earlier, the fork length of the "crescendo" could not be adjusted in any way. When I removed it and then installed it again, everything became normal. In general, this is a random trifle glitch. Thank you for your detailed explanation.

OK, so it seems "hairpin" is the the word you're looking for
