[Resolved] (De)Crescendo on Tied Notes
I'm really surprised that only one or two persons mentionned it because for me it's a real problem for the playback : Crescendos and decrescendos are not working on tied notes and that's really painful.
Mostly for symfony orchestras where violins are playing often the same note/chord during several measures...
At least, I guess we should have the choice to disable the playback of the tie with a checkbox, like it's already the case for other elements. Then, we would be able to hear the crescendo, even if the result is quite harsh, but we would see the tie too, so we have an accurate sheet and an acceptable playback.
But I guess the mainly thing to do is to fix this "bug", even if it's not really one.

This should work, so we'd need your score to check why it doesn't for you
Are you using some non-default soundfont (and if so, which)?
What Synthesizer settings?
What version of MuseScore? (We'd be able to tell from a score, if you share one)
What instrument? Not all do support single note dynamics

I'm so confused, I didn't see single note dynamics in the crescendo settings...
But I was pretty sure I checked and it didn't work. Maybe I didn't ear the dynamics change because it's little.
Again, really sorry for wasting your time.
By the way, do you know if there are many instruments that doesn't support it or is it the other way around, so in other words the most of them support it ?

None of the instruments that are beaten, struck, plucked (guitar, drums, piano etc). All winds (human voice, woodwind, brass) and all bowed strings. Common sense I guess?
