edit text using Inspector
I change size of fingering text from default 8 to 12 and it goes back to 8 when I move on. I dont see any "Apply" or "OK" button in Inspector. How do I get it to work? I achieved it once but dont know how it happened.

Try using the Set as Style button or apply the change after entering your fingerings

Tried that and every other button. No success.

I figured it out. If you drag over the text to select it, the changes you make wont happen. You have to click on it to select it, then the changes last. It shouldnt make any difference how you select it. Perhaps the developers should fix this.

Inspector changes are for the entire text and currently don't work while in text edit mode, only when the element is selected. This has been fixed for the next release.
To change only some characters within a text (thus overriding the inspector settings), go into edit mode by double clicking the text. Then highlight only the characters that need the change and use the text toolbar at the bottom of the screen to change them.
