Pitch Bend Problems
Hello everyone!
I'm here to discuss a possibly overlooked feature on Musescore -- pitch bending!
Honestly, the pitch bend feature is already okay. However, it could be a lot better.
The primary issue I always have with bending on Musescore is that you can NEVER bend below a certain note's pitch. That one issue makes me avoid using pitch bend in some instances. Additionally, near the end of the bend, it reverts to the original note, which can be quite jarring. For this exact issue, my solution is to offer an option on how the bend would function (at note endings). For the no-bend-below issue, please create a greater range of pitch to bend to.
I appreciate all the hard work these developers put into making Musescore an amazing and unparalleled notation software! If they fix, issues like these, Musescore will be closer and closer to perfection!
Thank you all for reading! See you in the comments!

Are you talking about the guitar bends? As far I can tell, it isn't physically possible to bend a pitch down on guitar, except through use of devices like the tremolo bar, for which a separate marking exists. I don't know that those currently playback, but it seems more likely to be the right symbol. For other instruments, neither symbol is correct, it should be the various symbols on the Arpeggios and Glissandi palette. Not thaty those currently playback either.

"Note that" I guess (as arpeggios and glissani do play back)
There is no yet a Portamento style glissando though (not with playback), see #127341: Add Glissando playback style portamento

Arpeggios and glissandi themselves play, but not the fall, scoop, plop, and doit.

Ah those, yes.

I wasn't only referring to guitar bends, I was referring to pitch bends in general (for basically all instruments, primarily orchestra/bowed string instruments, and woodwinds).

Which is the point of #127341: Add Glissando playback style portamento
