Version 3.4.2 Palette Bug
Trying to upgrade from V2 after several unsuccessful attempts, I've Just downloaded V3.4.2 in both 64-bit and 32-bit versions for use with Windows 7 64-bit. Both had the palette bug - it displayed incorrectly and as soon as one touched it the whole program froze.
I therefore set up the .bat file with "set QT_OPENGL=software", as per discussion, for 32-bit version and it seems to work a treat.
Your release notes said this was to have been fixed, but ...
Thanks again for a truly great program.

Don't use the 32bit version unless you have a special need (like running a 32bit Windows or only having a 32bit sound or MIDI driver).
I don't think that QT_OPENGL bug has been fixed, it is a problem with the drivers for certain graphics boards lacking support of OpenGL 2

For at least some systems that is no longer needed, but it still could be for others.

What is it here?
Ah, I guess that
set QT_OPENGL=software

Correct. It was nece3ssary on one of my systems until the fix went in, but no longer is, still, it depends on your specific hardware/driver/OS I think.
