Keeping canvas fixed
Hi!
Is there any way to fix the canvas from moving? I am trying to make a video tutorial and sometimes when I change or add notes, the canvas moves automatically. I would like to keep it fixed so I dont have to reposition it between my different "scenes".
Thanks
Uri

Menu "Edit" -> Preferences -> Canvas -> Tick "Limit scroll area to page borders" -> Ok
The option mentioned above is something a little different, it has more to do with how the score is repositioned when you use the scroll wheel, not what happens when you enter notes. To keep the canvas from moving while editing, simply turn of the "Pan score automatically" option using the toolbar control (right next to the metronome).

Is there any way for MS to remember the last setting? Or to disable "pan" by default?

See #303403: "Play Repeats" button does not reflect default repeat behavior and https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/5900 which fixes this 'in the passing'

Not sure how this relates to my "pan score" question...

The ".. which fixes it in the passing" part.
Indicating that the state of the Pan score button will also be fixed by the code change that fixes the Play Repeat button

Ok, so this is a bug that is in the process of being fixed?
