I am using musesore with my guitarstudents. I am doing the same with Reaper (DAW). Both sotwares can be personalized. But to give this persoalization to my students is with reaper more comfortable.
Reaper is able to export the all personal settings and import the settigs into a installation at a different PC.
Also is Reaper able to make from the PC version a USB-Stick version.
I know the portable version, but it is rather slow, to work from a USB-Stick.

I do not know if it is planned a feature to export preferences and/or settings (that would be useful), but you can still copy those files, take a look here: https://musescore.org/en/node/98096
There has definitely been talk of this, especially for keyboard shortcut sets. Ideally I guess we'd have both a "save / load all settings" and "save / load shortcuts".
Thank you,
is such similar xml-ile for the palettes?
yes, there are XML-style files for custom workspaces too.
I'll try working on this.
I have added the possibility to import/export preferences from/to a file in https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/2444 (shortcuts non-included). I am still working on the possibility to import/export shortcuts for an another patch. So far, the export works fine. However, after using the import, the application stops responding to the keyboard until it is restarted.
PR needs a rebase
Came up again in https://musescore.org/en/node/276278, but here explicitly for shortcuts
PR has been closed (https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/2444), so the issue is still active.
