Newbie Questions: How to add new instrument from sounds samples?
Hi,
You have created a wonderful application well done. It's helping me a lot in my beginnings of my music path.
I am planning on creating a set of samples for an instrument that I own and would like to try and add the instrument to MuseScore. I read an article about adding soundfonts (http://musescore.org/en/node/7864) but I only have the samples. Is there a how to anywhere on doing this or alternatively a how to on what I should actually be doing?

You will need a soundfont editor like Viena (one N only) : http://www.synthfont.com/
Here is a short tutorial using Vienna (with two N) that should be applicable to Viena : http://www.tweakheadz.com/SoundFont_Secrets.html
You might be able to find more tutorial by searching for "How to create a soundfont" in a search engine.
