problem of chord-acciacatures (or appoggiatures) / Pb des accords en appoggiature
(Musescore / version 1.0 / Vista)
Does anybody know how to write a chord as an appoggiature (or acciacature) ? If I try to put a second note in the appoggiature, I obtain two successive notes, not a chord !
Best regards,
Mike

Are you holding shift while adding the second note? That's how you add notes to a chord normally, and it seems to work for grace notes too on my system.

Could you elaborate? I am using MuseScore 1.0 under Windows 7 and I can’t get grace note chords whether or not I use the shift key (or Ctrl or Alt keys). Any idea of what am I doing wrong?

Add one grace note, click on the grace note and press (for example) Shift + E (or the note you want to add to the chord)

Nevermind, I just firgured it out. You must use the note names (alphabetical entry). Pointing with the mouse will not work for grace notes.
I notice that, hapilly, even if you enter a wrong pitch, you can later move it, add accidentals, etc., in the normal way.
