Fullscreen Playback
I'd like it if fullscreen was refined (or add a function such as 'Fullscreen playback'), only to show the score itself (no palette or tools, etc).
If you move the mouse, a tool bar (typical of a media player, such as VLC) will appear allowing you to play/stop, rewind/forward, mute, exit fullscreen, viewing options, magnification.

Someone filed an issue that would probably address this: #24749: Fullscreen mode with score view only

I have a sense the direction that MuseScore is going with this is to say that sort of thing is a job for a Player app, not for MuseScore itself. Implyuing that maybe someday, there will be such such an app for Windows/MacOS/Linux as opposed to just Android.

I really need this feature to preview how my music is going to look printed, without having to export to pdf and open the pdf. Would be a great feature. Like a preview mode where non printable elements disappear. Would be great. How do you suggest the feature?

Page view is WYSIWYG = What you see is what you get when it's printed, there is no need to export to PDF. This thread is 4 years old, so something may have changed in that time.

To turn off display of invisible and non-printable elements, go to the View menu. This should then be an exact preview.
