Getting repeats correct
I am new to Musescore and am trying to learn it by inputting some songs from a couple of song books. Right now I am having a problem with "Are You Washed in the Blood" and nothing I've found here or in the manual is helping to resolve it. With help from the instruction pdf and other questions posted here, I've been able to most of what I am trying but here's my problem. The song has four verses, so the repeat that sends you back to the beginning has to be followed twice, for a total of three plays, then , on the fourth pass, skip that part and play the last two bars.
The voltas have been placed and I have edited and re-edited them putting every combination imaginable in the volta repeat list. My result is that it repeats once. The second time through, it plays the first volta but then, instead of going back to the beginning, it moves on to the end of the song.
If my upload goes well, here is a copy of the .mscz that I am working with and I'd really appreciate any help someone could provide. Are You Washed in the Blood

Right-click on the bar with the Repeat and set Bar Properties -> Repeat count to 4
Right-click on the number in the 1st Volta and set Volta Properties -> Repeat list to 1,2,3

It took some time and trials before I realized that it was the measure I had to right click on to bring up the measure properties, not the bar (no bar properties menu came up), in order to set the number of repeats. I was totally focused on thinking that the Volta properties set up everything that I was trying to do.
You explanation lead me to the answer. I appreciate the help. Thank you.

FYI, "bar" is just the British word for "measure". So you can right click either of them - it's the same thing :-). I assume you mean "barline" - it is true that you can't right click there.

Perhaps it was easier a long time ago when we just grunted and pointed. ha-ha

Well...that explains a lot. Next you'll be telling me that a boot is not something you wear on your foot but part of a car. :) It surely had me going for a while. Thanks again - I appreciate you help.

A friend of mine here in the States told me about 20 years ago that his mother went on a trip to England, and there seemed to be something wrong with the car. She pulled into a petrol station (gas station) and the mechanic came out and told her that "the problem is under your bonnet." She was quite offended.
