Can't add repeat symbols
I'm creating a score with MS 1.0, and when I try to drag objects from the Repeat palette (segno or coda symbols, text phrases) to the score, they disappear when I release the mouse button. Is it just me, or is this a general bug? (I'm using 64-bit Windows 7; other technical details on request.)

Do you drag them over onto a note?
You need to drag them over a measure, the measure should turn grey before you release your mouse button.

Ah, thanks! I have considerable experience w/other notation apps, but I couldn't understand why I couldn't place these symbols or text phrases where I wanted them. It's somewhat unintuitive.
I've taken the liberty of adding this to the Handbook page:
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
To add an object from the Repeats palette, drag it onto (not above) the measure where
you want it to occur. The object then appears above that measure in your score.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
I've also changed the "Text" header to "Repeat Symbols and Text". Hey, I can't help it—I'm a technical writer. :?)
It'd probably be a good idea to add similar notes to other Palette sections whose objects are placed outside the staff. If I can try doing this for several minutes and not figure it out, complete newbies can too!

I would imagine it is so the program knows where you are exactly applying it (note-specific), rather than just dropping it somewhere? Think you can change it's position afterwards (it will still be in effect)?
