Celesta sustain
Hi, is there a way to add sustain to the celesta? Ive already tried adding the usual pedal marking, which does work with the piano, but not the celesta, it doesnt affect it at all.

My understanding is that most celestes don't have dampers - or at least, not ones that work like those on a piano - and so the soundfont probably is based on these models and provides for no extra-long sustain. Perhaps a different soundfont would contain an emulation of the type of celeste that *does* use dampers. Could be worth experimenting with.

Thank you,I thought the dampers were standard in celestas, but probably not. Ill look for alternative soundfonts

Dampers are standard in larger models from what I understand, less common in smaller models.
