Visual Swing Marking
I use method II - System Text & Special Characters - works well.
Once the symbol codes are entered they disappear to be replaced by the glyphs.
Is there any way of interrogating the glyphs to see the original symbol codes ?

Wouldn't it be great if Musescore had an advanced split screen editing mode. One view showing the "WYSIWYG" score and another view showing the raw editable .mscx text . Edits to either would immediately update the other. Similar to what HTML editors such as Dreamweaver do.
Would be brilliant for debugging, correcting corrupt scores, messing with otherwise impossible tuplets etc and generally learning what goes on under the hood.
