Cannot read file.
Every now and then I get a cannot read file message box. Not sure how to reproduce, but if someone could try to fix it, that would be great.

Looks like you may need to look for a backup file.

Thanks. Unfortunately the .mscz, backup is only half the score, and the User folder backups doesn't contain this score. So I guess I'll have to rewrite... again.

Just to be clear:
The (e.g. Windows) User/AppData/Local/MuseScore/MuseScore2 backups are cryptically named.
(Auto-generated alphanumeric - like scQ12532.mscz)
Therefore, your score's file name won't read anything like "SeveringTheNeed'; so at first glance may not appear to be the one you want.

Be sure to update to 2.0.3. A couple of bugs have been fixed that could very occasionally lead to corrupt files like this, so in theory, this shouldn't happen any more.
