Add to a chord should be above note selected rather than top note

Now when the bottom note of a chord is selected and a note is added via shift/(note name), the added note is always in the first octave above the top note of the chord.

Often I am adding colour note to the chord, often in clusters. The present method means I always have to then shift the added note down an octave.

It would be a great help if rather than that, the added note was in the first octave above the selected note rather than the top note.
