Key Signature change in middle of bar
Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if it's possible to change the key signature in the middle of a bar, and if so, how?
I am transcribing a Brass Band piece, currently working on the Solo Cornet part. The part is in F major, then changes on the last half beat of a 2/4 bar to C major. I'd like to have the transcription looking as close to the original as possible, but if there's no way of doing it, I'll just add accidentals for that last half beat and change the key signature in the next bar.
Thanks for your help.

I guess it is pretty non-standard and as such not supported by MuseScore, but you can split the measure and make the barline invisible

beware of that Jojo got up earlier than me again ;-): select the note, before do you want to have the time signature change, select in the menu bar->split bar before selected note, insert time signature, make the bar invisible with the inspector

Thanks for your time, Jojo and Kuwitt. I hadn't realized you can split a measure like that, and had already inserted a double bar line before the note concerned manually, as there is one shown in the original, so no need to make it invisible.
It worked, so I'm a very happy camper, as will our Musical Director be tonight when I present him with the printout this evening.
Thanks heaps. :)
