Rare Behaviour when Opening MuseScore
Hi!!!
As you know, I'm using MuseScore 2.0.2 into Ubuntu Studio 16.04 LTS.
Since two or three weeks, I've noted a rare behaviour when I open the program: Two MuseScore windows are opened (in other words: I get two program enviroments, at the same time).
This is when I click into the desktop icon, and/or when I click over a music score file.
One of the windows works so fine, the other... be quiet, showing an "Loading" bar (loading nothing, of course).
The only way I have to fix this is... Manually close the non-functional window!!!
None error appears on the screen.
Why is it this way?
How can I really fix it? ???
Greetings & Blessings from Chile

You can fix it when you install musescore 2.0.3 ;-).
The persistent "loading bar" was a behavior (bug) of musescore 2.0.2.
It doesn't happen in 2.0.3.

Thanks for your idea, but there is no any "official" new package available to Ubuntu.
Yes, it is true that there is a "portable" version of 2.0.3, which we can use, but, in my system, at least, there are some bugs.
So, up the new version package be "official", I will use 2.0.2 instead (even this "bug").

What bugs? Other than lack of support for Jack, I'm not aware of any bugs in the AppImage version of MuseScore. If you have something else in mind, have you reported it? Any official version 2.0.3 will work the same as the AppImage version aside from that.

I did it, Marc.
It is related to some "slow motion" of the cursor and mouse behaviour.

I know of an issue where in certian rare cases having the Navigator open at one certain size can cause a slowdown, and resizing the Navigator instantly solves it. this is not specific to the AppImage or even to Linux. Aside from that, I'm not aware of any other issues relating to cursor or mouse, so if you have something else in mind, be sure to report it. If it's just the Navigator issue, it goes away on resize as mentioned, so no need to avoid 2.0.3 and its hundreds of bug fixes just on that account.
