Ties to enharmonics don't display accidentals
1. Open new file.
2. Key of F# major
3. Put an A# whole note in one measure and a Bb in the next measure.
4. Tie them together so they play as a double whole note.
The "b" will dissapear off of the Bb. There plenty of reasons, especially in late Romantic music, to tie notes to their enharmonics. The workaround available is a bad one--placing a "b" in text box and manually inserting it into the score. Simply not feasible for large scores and cleaning parts.
Comments
Already reported for tied notes across the barline, whether or not they are enharmonic.
See #54501: Tied enharmonics incorrectly notated.
Problem is fixed in upcoming versions of MuseScore.
Another workaround is to use a slur.
