Clef Change
Hello,
I hope I am not too disturbing, here is my last issue. I know it was a topic in 2012 but I couldn't find a answer so ....
Is it still impossible to create a Clef change in the middle of a bar? It is so useful in Cello.
Thanks.

I am really sorry but it doesn't work. I drag it and as a magnetic tool it goes at the end of the previous bar.
Do you mean like this?
Your example just does it, so I dont understand the question?
Instead of dragging the new clef onto the measure, drag it on note/rest

Well I can fix this problem if I write the change in the xml file but if I am in Musescore and I want from scratch to create a Clef change in the middle of the bar, the new clef goes at the end of the previous bar.

drag it onto the note, until that changes it Color (rather than the whole bar changing Color).
What Version of MuseScore are you using? (edit: ah, I see, 2.0.3)
Alternative: select the note head and double click the clef

Thank you so so so much!
Highlighting the note head and double click the clef was the answer.

As mentioned above, dragging *also*& works, you just have to drag it directly to the first note you want it to apply to and release when *that note* highlights, as opposed to releasing when the whole bar highlights.
But anyhow, double click is almost always the more efficient way to add palette elements; drag and drop should be needed only rarely in MuseScore.
