Measure in 1 (e.g. 1/1, 1/4, etc)

I am trying to write a piece and for some measures, the time sig. switches to 1/2. However, there is no 1/2 in the palette. Is there a way to add this in Version 1.0 or do I have to wait for version 1.1?
