How to tie the last note at the end of a repeated phrase back to the note at the beginning
In the attached example, how do I tie note number 2 to note number 1 at the beginning?
On another subject, how do I make this repeat more than once? It's a "vamp" over which there is a drum solo. Is there a way to set a number of times it can be repeated, like maybe 4 times?
I searched the forums but couldn't find an answer. Thanks!

To tie over a repeat, you can use (invisible) grace notes.
Open the attachment and use the menu item: View/Show Invisible to see the grace notes.
(Also, follow the instructions to change the repeat count to 4.)

It's a bass line under a 4-bar open vamp for a drum solo. The tie to the first note at the beginning may be left over from my unsuccessful experimentation with trying to tie the last note back to the first note.
How did you get the last quarter note to tie to the grace note after it? Or did you use a slur?

You can tie to a grace note normally - enter both notes, select the first, press the tie button. At least this works in the current version of MuseScore (2.0.3).

How did you get the last quarter note to tie to the grace note after it?
In the Grace Notes palette you can select a 'Grace note after', then use a tie.
