Help with double time (change from 16th notes to 8th notes)
Can anyone help me? I transcribed a song for piano but did the time at a tempo of 60, with lots of 16th notes. Now I realize that I should have used a tempo of 120 with eighth notes. I searched all over and found the double time app, but using 2.03 I cannot use this app. Does anyone have it working? Would you be willing to convert it for me? The piece is Sirius / Eye In The Sky by The Alan Parsons Project.
Thanks!

None of the older Plugins work with 2.x and they can't simply be converted but would generally need to be re-written from scratch. Double- and Half-Time are relatively frequent requests but I don't think anyone has a fully working solution yet.

Perhaps the best solution is to install MuseScore 1 separately, set it up with the original versions of those plugins, export the score to MusicXML and run the plugins on it in MuseScore 1.
I can't believe it - I spent time downloading 1.3, figuring out how to install the plugin, which seems to load, but I cannot load my score because it says that "Your Version of Musescore is Too Old: Upgrade Now".
I cannot copy and paste from one version to the other either. Any other suggestions?

Like I said, export the score to MusicXML.

Just like the suggestion in the post above yours, export as XML in 2.0, Import this in 1.3, use the plug-in, save, open in 2.0
