note entry audio issues
For some reason when I go to enter a note in the staff I get not tone for the note I'm trying to enter. Not sure why, I've tried different settings and have tried repairing the musescore by downloading it again and going through the repair but it is still not giving any audio when I try to enter a note. Play back audio works fine.

Do you mean the *instrument* is not correct (like you are entering notes onto a flute staff but it is playing back as an electric guitar)? Or do you mean the *pich* is not what you expect (like you are entering a "D" ut hearing a "C")? Is it a transposing instrument like clarinet where this is perfectly correct? If so, simply turn on "Concert Pitch" mode using the button on the toolbar.
If you continue to have problems, please attach the score you are having proboems with and give precise steps to reproduce the problem.
EDIT: oh wait, sounds liek you are getting *no* sound during note input? Are you trying to enter notes outside the range of the instrument, perhaps?
