Cannot import PDF
HI all,
I recently tried to import a PDF file of a sheet music I composed into a MuseScore file, as I couldn't find the original MuseScore file that the PDF file was converted from, for some weird reason, even though I'm sure I saved the file at some point. However, after multiple attempts, I couldn't get it done.
I just don't want to rescore the whole second half of my composition again, as I spent a lot of time on it.
Attached is my pdf file that I tried to import.

You mean importing it via the PDF converter at https://musescore.com/import? If so, print the PDF, scan it and try to import that. Audiveris (the software beind the PDF importer) doesn't work on vectorized PDFs, like the ones MuseScre produces, but only on scanned PDFs (gray level, 300 DPI for best results), as far as I know

So I will need to print it in an A2 paper? Or will an A4 suffice? Because the original is an A2 page layout format.

shouldn't matter, as long as you have an A2 scanner

Does it affect the quality of the score if I print it on an A4? Will it affect the ability to recognize the score attributes and notes?

don't put your hopes too high either way, this is still very experimental.
