Multiple Repeats
I have a work with six sections, which I will call A--H. The structure is A,B,A,C,A,D,E,F,E,G,E,H. It would, of course, be easy to copy and paste the repeated sections A and E as needed, but could this be done with Voltas or some other way? So far the best I can do is this: segno and forward repeat, A, To Coda and Volta 1, B, backward repeat, Volta 2, C, Dal segno al coda, coda, D, forward repeat, E, Volta 1, F, backward repeat, G, Volta 2, =tilt= ... I have no way to get back to E. Using another Dal Segno will send me back to A, even if I insert another segno before E. I should mention there is a section before A, so don't suggest using Da Capo al coda the first time and Dal Segno the 2nd time.

I'd avoid segnos and codas except for when you want to jump back and play one part one more time and then jump to the end part of the piece.
One way to do this is to have section A then section B under a Volta 1 then the repeat. Next it runs into section C under a Volta which is LABELLED as 2 but which has its properties set to 1 in the list as this is followed by another end-repeat but it is the first time that that part has been played for that repeat. Attached score might explain it better.
See attached, note the repertlist properties of the 2 2nd voltas
Damn, too slow :-)

I still do not understand the capabilities completely, so could I ask for an example that would do this? ABABACDABACDABACE. My problem is with understanding the effect of the volta and measure settings and how they interact. I have read the short description in the handbook, but I can not seem to get it to work properly. Yes, I know I can always copy and paste, but I still wonder if there is another way. Here is one try: http://ejmaurath.com/00-000=Example.mscz if there is any way you can access this.
