Synalepha, where art thou?
I'm using bog standard MS 2.0.3 . Instructions in
http://musescore.org/en/handbook/lyrics
did not enable me to identify the synalepha/undertie/U+203F character.
I used an "elision" but I don't know if that's right. Can someone tell me?
Comments
I believe elison is just another work for synalepha?
Oh, I see. Thanks Jojo. Subsequently I found: https://musescore.org/en/node/21751
I am perfectly happy to use any suitable looking character. My only remaining uncertainty is that there are three elisions: "narrow elision", "elision", and "wide elision". Is it purely cosmetic, or is there a MS semantics to it? E.g., theoretically if I choose the wrong one, then some later release of MS might not render it properly, in some sense. Don't want to beat a poor little char to death, but I'm putting some effort into producing a score for some people...

Purely cosmetic and I'm pretty sure it won't cause a problem in a future version
