Page layout issue
Sorry, this might be evident to more experiences MS users, but I just could not find a way for my imported music file to be displayed vertically, one page at a time, rather than two pages on one "paper" sheet and having to scroll horizontally, as the attached screenshot shows. Can anyone help? Many thanks!

You could change the length of a pages. Seems 1999 mm is the maximum.

I tried various page sizes, but MS still tries to squeeze two sheet music "pages" into a single page. I thought there'd be a setting for that in addition to the settings about the actual size of the page, but I didn't find any under Page Settings, nor under General Style.

Even if you could get only one page to display per page - and I suspect you can if you turn off the double-sided option - it still woiuldn't display the pages vertically. They would still be horizontal. That's just how MuseScore works.

Hi,
I know it's an old subject, but... did you find a solution ? I'm looking for the same thing to do, and there seems to be no "double-sided" option as mentionned in the last reply...

It's not quite clear exactly what you are asking for here - could you be more specific? With a sample score, perhaps, and a description of what you want different about it?

Music is displayed horizontally in MuseScore, that's just how it works. The double-sided option is under Layout/Page settings, called "Two sided". Even with it off MS will still show the pages two side-by-side on screen. How it prints is different.

That's what I thought but I wanted to be sure.
Just a note to anyone still following along that the new version of MuseScore (2.0.3) includes an option in Preferences > Canvas to scroll pages vertically, exactly like the original poster suggested. See https://musescore.org/en/node/104676.
