Back button on "Create Score" interface
Scenario: Put in title, composer, yadayada. You get to the key signature, put in c major. Oops, realized it was F major. But...there's no back button. So you have to re-input everything. This is somewhat annoying to me.

Easy enough to drop a different key signature on the score from the Key Signature palette

I managed to use MuseScore for over a year with this same occasional frustration before realizing there *is* a back button in the "create new score" dialogs. You just have to know where to find it. Hint: look up :-)

I don't understand what you're talking about, I do see a "back" button, right between the "cancel" button and the "next" button

Maybe that's version or OS-specific, then? On 1.1 running on Windows Vista, there is omly an unlabeled left arrow in the upper left corner.

Got one here with XP Pro SP3 and MuseScore 1.1
There's one on my Linux box too: Mint 11 Katya MuseScore 1.1

Hmmm, I've never noticed the back arrow either! It is in a very unintuitive location.

Based on the feedback we're hearing from others, I am guessing that this is a case of Qt trying to mimic the look and feel of the host OS. I got curious and found this:

See the second to last bullet point in particular, and the screen shot of the "Connect to the Internet" wizard. Looks like we,ve both been unobservant in more ways than one!

No, I still think its unintuitive, and I've worked in Vista and 7 for about 4 years. You don't expect two disparate buttons, in both style and location, to give controls to the dialog. Even though its the normal operation for most windows in Win7, including IE and Explorer its not what you expect when a Wizard comes up, esp one with most other buttons.

I wasn't exactly disagreeing or saying I didn't also find it unintuitive. I am simply observing that it *is* apparently the correct way to do Wizards in Aero, like it or not.

Ah now I see what I've been missing: I'm not using Aero...
Might not be understanding, but is the button greyed out?
