Single Bar Repeat not Playing

Hi there,

I've searched and found no luck on this one. I'm using the single bar repeat sign ( ` / . ) and I'm finding the bars just go silent. This is happening in multiple pieces.

Is there something fundamental I'm missing? The play repeats button is activated, and other repeats I believe have worked fine.

I think the single bar repeat is for printing the music and giving to a player. I don't think it actually plays the previous measure when it's put on a score in MuseScore.

yes, the sign you are referring to does not affect playback. It simply tells a musician to play the measure before it again. It would be nice if it was played back though...
