Run the play highlight smoothly
Hi,
I have created the play highlight more smoothly with "32nd note" and "64 tremolo".
Is there a way that need not to create addition staff?
Thank you

I apologise for not understanding what you mean and for just guessing (unless, of course, I am correct - in which case, I accept full credit).
See the following, in relation to "Hide empty staves":

I really would like to apologize that ;)
Hi,
I have attached a full score here. Please click "space" to run the score.

To me personally its all a bit overkill for attempting to smooth out the playback cursor movement. But yes you*can* do it without an extra instrument if you have an unused voice within an existing instrument. It however is way more trouble than using the extra instrument as you have done now.
You can even hide the instrument (uncheck visible in the Instruments dialog) and the cursor will still be influenced by it, while your normal score layout won't be broken.
