Triplets
I have a problem with inserting triplet minims into the score. I put the first note in, as a minim. But when I press Ctrl+3 to create the triplets, it turns it into a crotchet. It is in 4/4 time signature.

That's how it is supposed to be. A triplet of the total length of a minim (half note) is 3 crotchets (quarter notes).
A triplet of the lotal lenght of a whole note though would come out as 3 minims (half notes)

Thank you! I think I got confused with the software. I thought you selected the note you wanted 3 of, not that it would divide the note you enter in to triplets.
