Switch already-set notes to another voice
It would be a huge help and time-saving not to rewrite them all! Thank you for any help

Just select the note and then select the other voice, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/voices#change-voice.
Or use the menu to swap voices, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/voices#exchange-voices

This doesn't work with tied notes, you have to switch entire measures for those.
