Accidental "Accidentals

I am writing my third score. The first was in Eb Major and the second was in C Major and completed successfully. This third score is in Bb Major and when I enter either an "E" or "B" they are automatically preceded by a "Natural" accidental. This is not correct as the Time Signature should produce the correct pitch absent any accidentals. How do I overcome this?

It is the Key Signature (not the Time Signature, as you wrote) which produces the correct pitch.
So, be sure you use the correct Key Signature - i.e. two flats.

Thanks jm6. Since I had not attached a copy, it was not possible to see that I indeed do have the correct Key Signature of two flats. Sorry, my text was in error and I did mean "Key" Signature

So, attach a copy of the score, please.
Also, explain how you are trying to add the notes. If you are using the Piano Keyboard window or MIDI, you need to actually enter a Bb or Eb, not a B or E.

Thank you for the information, altho overnite that very thought popped into my mind and I verified that indeed that is how it works. My first score which was in Eb, I used the cursor and the second score the piano kbd in Key of C so no # or b's. I figured it was something I did wrong but the lite bulb wouldn't go off!
