How to space score on a page
(Sorry for a dopey question, but I don't use this powerful software very often.) I created a new 32-bar score but it's squished into just a few lines. How do I space it to something like 8 lines of 4 measures?

See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tools#line-breaks, this should take care of (a max. of) the 4 measure per system. Whether 8 systems fit a page depends on page size, number of staves ber System, staff and system distance, scaling factor, bottom and top page boundary, ETC:
But if you haven't already, wait until you enter the notes before worrying about this. The spacing will autotically adjust as you add notes, and you may find you like the default just fine.
