Just like you do for any other instrument, e.g. C major: N, C , Shift+D, Shift+E, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/note-input
Or do you mean chord symbol? Again same as for any other instrument, select the jnote/rest, press Ctrl-K, type the chord name, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/chord-symbols
