Stop or erase Instruments..

Hello everyone.....Just Downloaded the musescore software a few hours ago along with some scores to listen...

A question.....complete beginner here.....

So, a score i downloaded has various instruments,but i wanna listen to only the piano part...How do i stop the other instruments from sounding? or can i erase them from the score?

Or to eliminate them completely and permanently, see Edit / Instruments. Or just File / Parts to generate parts, and look at the piano part - the other instruments will each get their own part.
