Musescore will not start after download
Have tried four times to download V1.2. from your site Using Windows XP pro. (5.1.2600)
Each time at end of normal download and install I have two MuseScore icons in my task bar which if clicked give a blank, but active screen.
Task Manager shows
[ icon]- MuseScore .......Not responding
[ icon]- MuseScore startup ...... not responding
I have tried uninstalling and deleting all reference to MuseScore in the registry before each download attempt ... but each time get the same result. The only difference I noticed was that one download took longer than the others (17 minutes, as I recall!)
On attempting to close the 'Not responding' programs it can take a long time ... say 60 secs before they close
HELP! I really want to use this program!

Marc, thank you for your help. The issue was Zone Alarm firewall not allowing internet access. Cleared all boxes and Hey- Presto MuseScore is a goer!

Thank you for reporting that there is a compatibility issue with Zone Alarm. Could you give us some more information about what Zone Alarm version you are running and on which operating system?
Update: ok, I read that you are using Win XP Pro.
