Installed printer can not be selected

I am using Version 1.2, Revision 5470 under Windows Vista. I have tried running as an administrator, and I get the same problem as when just running the program from the Windows menu. When I try to print to a printer recognized by Windows, I am not able to select a printer because "print" and "apply" are both greyed out. I will appreciate ideas on how to fix this; I didn't find a solution in the forums. Thanks.
