Instead of having to guess the right text style, simply right click the thing itself and chosoe Text Style. This automatically takes you to the appropriate style.
But the naming is not meant to be confusing. "Left" is for text traditionally aligned at the beginning of a measure (coda, segno), while "Right" is for text traditionally aligned at the end (Fine, To Coda, DS, DC).
It the case I was reacting to, the signo was placed over the bar number and at the resolution I was working in, it was impossible to activate to adjust.
It brings up another issue which I will add to the forums - I believe the last placed element should take precedence when clicked. There have been many instances where there is, to me, unnecessary resolution changes and negating of clicks.
I am not sure I explained clearly enough. Right clicking a single segno and choosing "Text Style" does *not* limit you to just tweaing a single instance. This takes you directly to the appropriate text style setting for *all* elements sharing that text style. So, right click on segno, Text Style, make changes, and *all* segnos are affected (as are all other symbols sharing that text style).

Text style, Repeats Text left

Thanks very much. It sure is buried.
Is this referenced anywhere?
Is there perhaps a better name than Repeats left? (Segnos, _____, _____). What else is affected by this change?
What do the other "Repeats" texts reference?
:)

To me, those would be much better terms for those functions.
Thanks.

Thanks, I know how to manipulate each instance.

I see.
I have added the forum topic about last element on top.
Have a great day.
