Problems to import PDF score files with mscore-3.0-devel
I'm trying very often to import PDF score files with the import function of mscore-3.0-devel. But this fails very often with: unseccessful, and the import function says nothing about the creatia leading to sucessful importing pdf.
What PDF properties are needed to import PDF scores? Any PDF standard? It would be good if mscore would be more communicative.
What runs: exported scrores to PDF can be reimported by mscore, so there must be some criteria in mscore which make such PDF files ready for importation.

Is there a difference of import to MuseScore 2.0.3 or 2.1?

I pre-converted the PDF files with ghostscript (/usr/bin/gs) using the options
r300x300 -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -sColorConversionStrategy=Gray-dProcessColorModel=/DeviceGray -dCompatibilityLevel=1.4
This produces a PDF file importable by mscrore-3.0

Could you please attache such an example pdf file to see if there's a difference between different versions of MuseScore or that the reason is by audiveris.

The PDF import is a third package (I hope I'm using the right expression), not a code from MuseSore. It would be useful to ask and response here:

because I think PDF import is an usefule feature and myself would like to see a new version ;-) .

I did try to import to 2.0.3 or 2.1: same result as in 3.0-devel (import fails too)
