Repeat sign for preceding note groups
Is there a sign to indicate that only a preceding group of beats are to be repeated?
I do not mean the “repeat measure sign” which is available in the “Repeat and Jumps”.
It is normally a forward slash line or lines, depending on the note value.
For instance one slash for 8th notes and two slashes for 16th notes and so on WITHIN a measure.
This is normal practice in for sheet music but I cannot find the suitable sign in MuseScore or I must
have overlooked it.

Yes there is such a thing. They are called "similie" beats. I even have a feature request:
#127396: Simile Marks inside measure to indicate repeat previous beat (playback & display) & MusicXML i/o for "beat-repeat" & "slash"
They are supported in MusicXML, so MuseScore needs to support them, too.

Thank you all for your responses. But ericfontainejazz showed exactly what I meant.
Did not know the English expression for it but it is that "simile marks" thing!
I hope that this will be implemented in a next version of MuseScore.
That picture right below the internet address from dolmetsch.com gives an example of what
I mean: https://musescore.org/en/node/127396.
