Vertical position of lyrics
Working Ubuntu 11.04 and to-day compilation eec493d
I got poor positioning, see capture.png
Modifying lyrics style to use «center text vertical to baseline», positioning is good but long dashes are far too low, see capture-1.png
Lassoing the whole score and using text properties to declare text as unstyled yields a nice positioning, see capture-2.png

same problem as http://musescore.org/en/node/18447?

I requested that http://musescore.org/en/node/18447? upload its mscx file to investigate
I have a pull request pending which fixes dashes and melisma line position: //github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/105 .
This fix works with baseline centering; it does not work (yet?) with other centerings because some text data are private to the SimpleText class and not accessible to other classes.

I tested this change.
It's better, but still not optimal. During editing the lyrics box is jumping.
