Instruments switching parts in MIDI conversion
Hey guys,
So I've been trying to create the "6 Days a Sacrifice" soundtrack in MuseScore, and it's been working great up until now. In my remastered versions of the earlier songs, I was working with much fewer instruments and there were no problems at all. However, when I started working on the credits theme, the MIDI conversion started acting up.
While the melody would normally be played on a C Trumpet, it is for some reason being played by Voice part; the trumpet still plays the harmony notes, but for some reason those two instruments have partially swapped parts.
Since I've probably explained that terribly, I've attached the two files to this post; just compare what the MIDI plays to the score and you'll see what I mean. Has anybody else had this problem and, if so, does anyone have a solution?
Thanks in advance!

I have the same problem. In my trumpet concerto and clarinet concerto, the solo instruments are played by a string sound in Midi format. It seems to be a problem with instruments in the key of Bb.

Thanks for this, things appear to be making more sense. I will try adding a mute to the trumpet, see if it changes digital channel. I'll let you guys know if I find anything.
