A little OT, but it may be interesting to you: https://musescore.org/en/node/151636
Can you give more information about Nickelharpa? How is it notated? How many staves? Is it a transposing instrument? what its range?

Hi,
you'll find everything here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nyckelharpa
The nyckelharpa has the range of a viola, and uses the same 4 strings, but it is written in violin clef. One stave, not transposing. For the lower notes you can use 8vb---
The nyckelharpa is very common in Sweden where it's modern form has been developed in the 1920s and 1930s

With the above PR it would sound like a viola, and it will be able to switch to tremolo and pizzicato. Is that ok for the nickelharpa?

The sound of the nyckelharpa is quite particular, it resembles a little bit the Hardanger fiddle. The nyckelharpa has 12 sympathetic string (underneath the 4 melody strings) which give the instrument it's particular flavour. You can play pizzicato on it, and some players use vibrato - but vibrato is not very widely used.
For this piece i chose viola as nyckelharpa sound: https://musescore.com/user/8293926/scores/3734571
But in reality the nyckelharpa sounds quite different:

We don't have a nyckelharpa sound in GM, so I guess viola is the closest match, right?
And having tremolo and pizzicato won't harm, I think.

I'll check the different sounds. Viola could be the best choice, indeed.
