Is there a way to mute the instruments in one system so i can concentrate on other parts?

I wanted to isolate the saxophone(s) and just work on the bass, but the score program plays everything at once. I m almost sure their is but I can not figure out how to do it. And when I type it in the search, I don't get any options.
