Just select the "Drs." and "Gtr." and hit 'del'.
The initial barline can get disabled in Style → Edit General Style → Barlines
You can indeed delete staff names simply by clicking and hitting Delete, but actually, you can't *quite* do exactly what you want. MuseScore has a notion of a "full" and "abbreviated" staff name. The full name appears on the first system, the abbreviated name on the second. What you want is tfor the abbreviated name to be deleted for guitar, so only the full name shows on the first system, and that much is simply - just click any of the abbreviated names and hit Delete. But the full name for drums is being hidded because you have Hide Empty Staves turned on. If you try to delete the abbreviated name, it will delete from *all* systems - you won't be able to keep it on the second system as you wish. The usual way this is done in most published music is to show all instruments in the *first* system whether they play or not. In 2.0, there will be a simple option to make this happen. In 1.2, you have to put an invisible note somewhere in the drum part in that first line to force it to not be hidden. Then you can delete the abbreviated name and still see the full name on the first system.
