Remove intervals added when Undo is not available
Good day
I am looking for a way to remove the top (or bottom) note added using the Note -> Add Interval -> Octave Above
Let’s say I realise I don’t need the interval
In certain instances, it is not possible just to undo (too many changes that would be lost), or the file was saved, closed and re-opened.
I can
a) Delete interval notes one by one and press Delete
b) Multi-Ctrl click and press Delete. Not really a timesaver, requires precision and the risk of losing my selection if I click the wrong thing while not having Ctrl depressed.
I cannot
a) Shift-Click with any other combination (Alt, Ctrl) which will only select the “top” note of the interval.
Since the Interval is not a 2nd voice, I cannot select it as such.
Any suggestions?
Background / Reason I require this :
In my brass band, the trombone often doubles up on the bass part with the tuba, just an octave above. Usually they play off the same part (e.g. one less part to maintain), but in some instances, I want to split them into separate parts. It has also happened that I thought I was adding the octave to a single part, but added it to all parts by mistake and only noticed it a number of edits (more than I wanted to undo) later.
