Tautological shortcut descriptions in MuseScore: Settings
In the window "MuseScore: Settings" under tab "Shortcuts", the shortcut descriptions are tautological for characters like ">" which need Shift to be accessed; the shortcut ">" is there described as "Shift+>" although a more correct description would be "Shift+<".

Don't you mean "Shift+."????

No, I mean "Shift+>" and "Shift+<". In the Swedish computer keyboard layout these characters share the same key to the left of "Z".

In which case it is probably better left as it is, as other keyboards obviously differ - my UK keyboard has > over .

"In which case it is probably better left as it is, [...]"
No, I think the shortcut designation should be just ">". The issue is not dependant on keyboard layout.

I second that. Shortcut ">" should be enough, that you reach it on a Swedish or German keyboard via Shift is irrelevant.
Simlar for the default shoftcuts for ceascendo and decrescendo, h and H: no need to call the latter Shift-H or Shift-h

How can this be fixed? Is this also related to Qt so it's Qt that needs patching and not MuseScore?

On German keyboards too, Shift+< == >, just like Shift+a == A
